Lots of great discussion on quality, CS, and power gains.

How about sound, do the ARH and Kooks pretty much have the same sound qualities? As in loudness/volume & pitch/tone? I would guess they sound the same, but since I haven't had either system I just wanted to confirm.

Lg Motorsports has the best collector design for power but their 6th gen camaro design still isn't here yet, they said first quarter 2017 but that's almost over soon .

They are both excellent products but my vote for the 6th Gen is ARH.

Was this a repeatable issue or did you only encounter it one time?

Does ARH have a catted option? This is a must for me. Nothing worse than being that person on the road causing everyone behind you to smell your crap. I'm not in the market for track purposes.

Picked my Camaro up today after I just had my ARH headers installed (1 7/8" longtubes, no cats) installed and my car retuned by New Era Performance in Rochester, NY. The car put down 570hp & 596tq to the rear wheels--it was a gain of 27hp & 19tq with the headers. The car sounds great--but it is freaking loud!!!! I have the ARH headers going into a Corsa Xtreme axle-back exhaust. I am going to have the shop fabricate and install a resonator to help quiet things down a little. Other than that, I can notice an immediate difference in power and responsiveness. Here's the dyno run:

Absolutely, give us a call we will hook you up with an ARH system.

Flanged or V-band connections would add a couple hundred to the price of the system and It's a competitive market - We keep things simple and proven, although yes it is easier to service a V-band connection. Ground clearance is also a concern and the slip fit offers the best clearance options.

you gained 27hp 19ftlbs because you have a supercharger.

Thank you for sharing this! Yes he gained a lot of power with the supercharger, but you will still gain moderately in a naturally aspirated application.
