Wow.. amazing process, thanks for sharing all the information and photos. Is this the car that used in that Sebring video? I'm currently at 3630lbs (full tank, 18*10/18*11 Apex SM 10 wheels, passenger and rear seats removed). I am trying to find a way to cut another 100lbs in the near future to get close to 3400lbs by keeping it as a street car. Would you mind sharing some insights about the lightweight battery (I'm thinking Antigravity OEM compatible self-protector type) and maybe headers weight savings (headers and flywheels in plans too)? I have looked but could only find full exhaust weight so far

Update.
I ditched the AC compressor all the lines associated and condenser. That is 21lbs gone I've gone with a w e axle over with no Muffler. That setup weighs 12 lb. The stock Muffler weighs 28 lb. I also added dssv shocks that's off the top my head another 15 to 18 lb. I also included a katech aluminum flywheel so that's another 28 lb |

What are you at now Nicky?
Cem, you'll need to target another 200lb to get close to 3400, correct? |

My future plans: Header ~15lbs maybe? (Asked to learn how much I can save but never received an answer from anyone lol) Flywheel ~25lbs Lightweight battery ~30lbs Girodisc front rotor rings ~8lbs (total) R7s another 8lbs Hood vent tray 2lbs (haha) So a total of 88lbs maybe. 3630-88= ~3540-3550 lbs would be more realistic guess. I just don't want to lose my warranty now maybe next year I can do headers, flywheels and all that since it will require tune anyways. I might also add GM and heads/cams if I decide to keep the car (instead of a C8 GS or Z06 whatever) ..it sounds very tempting to have a 3500lbs Camaro with 520-530whp NA power

Damn. Looks good. like how your keeping the factory dash and gauges. Sorry did not read the whole thread, did you keep the HVAC unit for heating and air?
