Dome light and footwell problem

I recently installed and wired footwell led lights and lighted door sills. I wired them to two ttaps to the grey dome light wire under driver side dash. And has been working fine for about a week now. Just right now when I was adding double sided tape to footwell lights. All the lights went out ( foot wells, door sills, and even the dome light). What would cause all these to go out? I could see a bad connection cause footwell and door sills to go out. But why also the dome light? And information, help, or troubleshooting is appreciated. Thanks!

I did not check the fuse yet. I'm eastern time so I planned on messing with everything in the morning. But I do not think is is the fuse because while I was sitting in my car when it all went out, they randomly flicker on reall quick a few times.

There is a timer on the dome lights. After a few minutes with the door open the dome lights will shut off. I think if u open and shut the door it resets or maybe turn the key.

Another thing it could be is the computer needs to reset because you may have shorted it out. Happen to me when putting led lights in the trunk. I accidentally touched power to ground and everything went out. I learned the relays are controlled by the computer. cycle the key a few times to reset the computer and your good to go!

I just tried cycling key a few times and that did not work. I kept noticing the lights randomly flash on and off again. I'm assuming it's a bad connection somewhere or maybe a bad ground?
