Favorite car from the year you were born?
Some of use have a lot more choices to pick from than others. I'd have to go with the '85 Buick Grand National

1983 was a very dark time in automotive history. My choices are very limited to begin with. To make matters worse, there was no 1983 model year Corvette. The Car of the Year was the AMC/Renault Alliance.
If I had to choose, it would be the Monte Carlo SS.

Were there any good cars built in 1990?

I would have to go with the 1989 Callaway Corvette Twin Turbo BK2. Then probably the 1989 Camaro IROC-Z 1LE option package after that.

The 1979 Pontiac Firebird Trans-Am. The 10th Anniversary edition had the last Pontiac 400 ci engines and included the WS6 package.
I've read that some of these late 70s WS6 packages actually performed the same or better than the corvettes of the same year. So much for GM always making sure the vette was on top.
