Overseas build JRE & BMR

First off let me start by saying that both everyone over at JRE and BMR are absolutely awesome to deal with. Being overseas in Central America I have my limitations on how fast I can build my car. Logistics and mechanics and all are a nightmare. No where I can just take the car and have them build it. I have to order, get everything over here, then build it with a buddy of mine who is a mechanic.

There are currently about 10-15 5th gens in the whole country. (Panama). I am 1 of 2 that is supercharged. The other just have a Maggie on top. Untuned, pretty much disaster waiting to happen. I'm trying to build the fastest street 5th gen in the region (Central america). In Nov. we have a drag competition in Costa Rica that I am hoping to go to and try to run some good times.

Anyway, the car is pretty much exclusively built by Ted and Kyle. Ted has helped me with all the mechanical and engine mods and Kyle gave me a wicked recipe for traction and hooked me up good.

Car has:
TVS2300 with 3.4" pulley, which slips, 6-7psi, sometimes I see 8.
I have an 8 rib Ted sent me waiting to go in when I get the time to put the car back in the shop.
JRE cam
JRE differential 3.45 gears
Snow meth system, bolt ons, etc.
Car saw over 600rwhp on a dyno here in a shed out back in 100F and 80% humidity.

Anyway, car was a nightmare to hook on the street. Would spin well into 3rd. Was spinning at 80mph. Decided to finally get serious and get some traction!
Got in touch with Ted who sent me some awesome Welds and slicks/skinny setup. (I'm running the slicks back and the 21s up front for now since I am not racing it).

Then got in touch with Kyle who pretty much told me I needed this this and this. Let me tell you, the guy knows how to make a car hook! She now spins a bit in 1st but spins moving forward and up to about 2k rpm in 2nd. Hooks very very hard on street and on cold slicks. I haven't had the time or found a place to heat them up yet and do some launches with them hot.

Anyway, this was my formula to hook my car on the street:
17" welds with hoosier slicks
BMR Sway bar
BMR Subframe connector
BMR Driveshaft tunnel brace
BMR Bushing Front Suspension
BMR Bushing Kit
BMR End link kit sway bar
BMR End link mounting brace
BMR Driveshaft safety loop
GFORCE 1000HP Axle
BMR Lower control arm adjustable
BMR Toe Rod Adjustable
BMR Trailing arm rear
BMR Rear cradle bushing kit
BMR Bushing rear trailing arm

Well that's enough rambling on my part. Thought I'd post this up and give credit where credit is due.

ps if anyone mentions that evo I will kill you

Since when is Central America overseas? If I was reading the from Europe then you'd be correct but I can get in my EVO, drive to you, smoke you on whatever air strip you're racing on today, and drive home. All without getting wet!!!

No idea. The thing traps 130+ all day long. Maybe with the 8 rib and the new pulley may have a chance. He's not a very good driver so I already asked him for a dig instead of a roll race.

On a map you can. Lots of countries won't let you in with a car from another country though. Lot of dumb laws in C. America.

The same culprits :( Huffer and Jaime. Always roughing people up because they have single digit 1/4 mile cars.

Hahahah! Idiots flock together.

So let me get this straight. Using your geography, since your have an overseas build, that must mean that since Ted and I live 10 miles apart I have a transcontinental build!
