Boost?

In mere curiosity, what route would you choose if you had the options between SC or PC route? In addition what do you believe the highest boost for upmost hp/tq with engine longevity/ dependability?

The heads and block have been rebuilt for PC/SC route by Lingenfelter PF, with forged pistons & rods bored .010, @11:8 cr and BTR wild-cat cam.

I have been told I could go with either PC or SC; however, the majority of recommendations have been PC route.

Merely looking for positive and or ...input from those of knowledge and or experience.

PC is Pro-charger.

Personally, I wouldn't do FI because the CR is so high. That said, you have strengthened the bottom end so that helps in your favor. I love the concept of FI, don't get me wrong... I just think you are asking for issues in terms of longevity with that high of a CR. Are you planning on racing this or are you planning on just doing it because?

Icedog did a supercharger on his, although he has an all new block. PC is a lot more forgiving if you ever plan to go back to stock. Just requires more brackets/parts and shoehorning it into the engine bay.

Procharger is a brand of a centrifugal supercharger

Roots and twin screw are the other 2 of the 3 supercharger styles.

The Procharger set up would do better on that compression and cam set up then a roots style blower. If you need a kit pm us and we'll get you a quote (we always hook up CAMARO5 members)
