7th gen will need to show some kind of significant departure from the similarities between the 5th and 6th gen. Don't get me wrong...I absolutely love the look of the 6th gen. I still think its sexy sauce. lol. But I agree...next time it has got to change.
But I feel for the designers. I'm sure they are already working on it and they have a very difficult task. The thing is, the car has to retain the same profile, and would be great is they could still retain those classic hips. Past that, I think anything goes. I remember this design sketch from before the 6th gen was revealed. I still think something like this would be awesome. I'd have bought this for sure. To me, this looks like a futuristic Camaro. I hope that's what the 7th gen goes for. When the 5th gen was released in 2009, it was like driving a real concept on the road. I hope the 7th gen can do that again.

It would be much better than a modernized 2nd Gen.

So you think sales falling off by 50% from the previous year is a hot car? The 69 Camaro is iconic. The 70 isn't.

Are we really arguing about which cars we think look the best? lol Seriously guys, it's ok to have a difference of opinion.

I like all the generations but you appear unaware of how significant the Camaro and Firebird were in that era. They were "it"

I mean if anything, the late 70's Camaros were the worst ones ever made. Lowest power, worst handling, poorest build quality, etc, etc...I do happen to like the early 2nd gens a lot, but once the big bumpers and such came along, it ruined the looks. The late 70's and early 80's ones were full of tacked on crap and stickers. |

The rumor is a "new" truck is being produced there. Could be next gen full size. Probably couldn't come soon enough, I understand Ram took 2nd place.

The timeline would suggest it's the T1XX truck. Bodies shipped from Ft. Wayne to Oshawa for final assembly.
