Not an unheard-of issue. Do you have any mods? I have a throttle controller, and in the past that caused the same issue due to alterations in the voltage being sent. I've seen the pedal replacement for people a couple of times, too. I like the throttle controller too much to ditch it. A cheap Bluetooth OBD scanner and a phone app such as Torque is sufficient to clear it.

Secondly, oil changes are required more frequently in turbocharged vehicles. If you're using semisynthetic oil then 3000 miles is about right. You can go longer on fully synthetic.

This happened to me engine light on , then reduced power popped up and the car began to drive sluggish Max 40mph, so before turning off. So I decided to disconnect the battery and that turned off my check engine light and I was back up and going for a few miles then it happened again.

I have had "reduced engine power" multiple times now. I thought I had it pinned down at one point, but have since proven that theory wrong. I have caught it 2 times now while logging in HPT, and nothing strange has happened in the log (except fuel and throttle cut, most likely a result of reduced power mode). It will not reset for me unless I clear the codes while the engine is running, or kill the battery for a bit. If I knew when it might happen, I would just log every single PID available, and probably find the issue, but its so random, and un repeatable, even immediately after an episode.
