Hoping to hit the dyno tomorrow or Thursday, to continue testing on the z54 (and neutral balance shafts). Shooting for some exciting numbers!
Price is the driver here for me. The ZFR is awesome, but at 2K, plus tune, it's just a tad bit pricey. I hope ZZP is able to come in close to the teased price of around half that for the Z54. Then it becomes a dramatically more attractive option.

The wife acceptance factor goes up when the price stays under 4 digits

Or you use the age old trick and buy the wife something as well to universally and psychologically nullify her displeasure at you buying car parts.

I've been using the "I make your car safe before I make mine fast" method.
She gets fog lights (standard lighting on the new Cruze is terrible...)
I get ZZP intake and downpipe
She gets winter tires and second set of wheels
I (will) get turbo and intercooler
Help me to help you

Just kidding though, I'd rather have a well developed product than a rushed product.

The trick is: ....NEVER.... let her find out how much money goes in,... or out... !!!!!!

Example: Wife says: whats that in the box over there ????
You say: " Oh, that thing in the box sweetie? Ohh thats just a ZZP Z54 turbo I got off ebay for 35 bucks... Im not even sure if it even works or not babe."

It works. Trust me!
Bahahaha

My go to is "oh yeah I ordered this months ago, it was on back order" either that or the "I got a killer deal on this, like 60% off, so I had to pick it up"

We have the LTG ZFR on the shelf currently, and that is by far the best option.

the latest update i received on the Z54 is that we are still doing some final testing, and a couple tweaks, then we need to give the final go-ahead for the casting of the exhaust housings.....meaning at bare minimum, several months yet :/

we definitely do not want to rush this to market, as our quality is very important to us.

Well, it's good to know you guys aren't rushing it!
It looks like next year's tax-return-baller move for me.

So whats up with this thing? The Z54 would perfectly suit my needs at a great price point. There was mention of simple modification needed to the current z54 offering, to work on the LTG, can you elaborate?
