SS Fr Bar on LT V6 for real!

So... Like to hear from a V6 LT owner who ACTUALLY has put a SS front
sway bar(P/N 22988701) on their car! No "should work" or "what about the
V6 1LE" . On the car driving it!

they work... simple.

I'm running the ENTIRE BMR front bar kit which was designed for the SS. had it on for almost 2 years now...front and rear.

the only difference between bars among all models are the diameters, and I doubt anything is as large as the BMR bars...

its the same exact chassis across the board.

My concern is the shape of the SS bar is different than the LT bar. AFE makes affront bar that works for the LT and SS and its shape is very different than the BMR! So I would feel a lot better If I hear from someone who has put the
GM SS Bar on their LT. If not then I would have to goto BMR or AFE.

Well then the SS bar should not be a problem. did read a post where a LT owner's car was used by Ebiach to prototype. Said the SS bar would not fit!
Strange.

ehh your call... I know its been done.

Chez above posted he's done the ZL1 bar, and most of the SS guys have upgraded to that...

also added pics of the BMR, AFE, and SS front bar I found on ebay...all have the same shape. front and rear.

your call though.

p.s. that lil hump is for clearance on the front electric steering motor

So.........Going to order the bar from Parts Direct. They said no return due to a P/N not for my Vin. Based on all the feedback should be okay.

Yup its cool.. all my v6 1le stuff i had to use a v6 1le vin.

All my suspension parts from fe4 cars, i had to use the vin from a fe4.

When i pieced together my SS 1le brakes, i had to use the vin for a ss 1le.

Your vin is only gonna produce what came on your car in stock form. Nothing more.

Its alot of fun to go to AutoZone and they ask what kinda car you have, and then you have to explain why you need said part from another trim level.

Youre good

Hold on Chuck- I'v got a set of SS bars off my 2017 sitting in the garage (went with the ZL1 bars a while ago). They were on the car about 3K miles

I'm just 30 miles away in St. George and I'm always looking for an excuse to run to "Lee's" ( you know what I'm talking about). Parts Direct shipping will kill you as I recall.

If you haven't pulled the trigger, I've been wondering what I'm gonna do with these. Drop me a PM.

Already have a rear SS bar installed. Bought it for autocross. too much front
body roll so now need the front, which is ordered from GM parts direct. their
overall price is still the lowest.
