Has anyone tuned out 1st gear?
Has anyone tried to program out 1st gear? With a loose converter and lots of power I don’t think 1st gear is needed. I changed all the 1-2 shifts to 0mph and all the 2-1 to 0mph, also the wot rpm to 400rpm and it didn’t work. The tap shift did lock out 1st but nothing in the auto modes. Since that didn’t work I put all the 1-2 shifts at 1mph and left the 2-1 and 0 mph. That still didn’t work, it is shifting at more like 10mph at part throttle.
The car drives much nicer leaving in 2nd and the faster guys are leaving in 2nd at the track and pulling low 1.3’s. Seems like i don’t have the tables I need.
