Octane Booster or Mix Unleaded Race Gas for track visit?

I have 93 octane in my area but it's mixed 10% with ethanol. I've also read a few times where tuners are seeing spark retard even with 93 octane on cool days.

Would it be worth it to mix in a few gallons of 100 octane unleaded or drop in a can of Race gas octane booster on a stock SS for those days at the strip?

Probably not. Reason being.... If you have had your car tuned, your tuner needs to adjust your timing or PE tables, as they were way too aggressive with it

If you are not tuned, then you have a bigger problem. If you are picking up knock on a stock tune you either have some really really shitty gas, or something is acting funky
