What's the consensus on the Chevy-brand cat-back exhaust? Is it decent? Or are there better aftermarket options?

Effectively is the Borla axle-back exhaust. I can't 100% guarantee that statement but that was the case with the 5th Gen it was literally a rebranded borla exhaust.

Evil-Bee-NH is right. It is manufactured by Borla. They are not EXACTLY the same systems available through Borla, and are made to GM specs, but they are pretty much S-type..

Hard to get in Cali. I haven't been able to even find a catted one that's CA legal. It's not really a matter of legality (not up for smog check for 5 years anyway), it's that no one will ship it to CA...

Plus, these are OEM, so they do increase the value if I ever decide to sell it or trade it in...

Strange that no one ships to cali when V8 guys are buying full on header and hi-flo or catless systems without issue. Think you need to just order one from ZZP and call it a day.

Aye man, im from Cali. I got my catted downpipe from ZZP quick ship. One part that took awhile was the injen cai because its not carb legal. It took 5 days by Phastek.

Hmm...strange. I was told since it isn't CARB legal it can't even be shipped here. I'll have to take another look...

If anything, I can probably cobble together a turboback with it and this exhaust...

This is the title and first line of the press release. I don't see anything about being a manufacturer in it.
