Well. Last notation on ordering constraints was March 22nd. Just under 3 weeks ago. There were 110 Camaro SS 1LE available to be ordered.

That is spots on the production line. If there were orders before that they should already have been slotted in.

But still. If they are building U.S cars.....the parts are there.

LS 1Le's are base models no frills.. easy build I would think?

Just to let you know that I have contacted GM Canada directly to try and get an ETA on mine. I should get an answer before next weekend. I'll update this thread then.

I've talked to GM Canada today and was only told the car is still at the plant. The agent will make some inquiries to get more details and will contact me again at the end of this week. To be continued...

Called GM yesterday, gave them my order #, they called back said the car left texas and is on the way to calgary... clearly wrong order!

It's a shame GM Canada are just puppets.
They have no clue.

After pushing I got a significant answer. The GM Canada agent got an email from GM that said missing stripping has been installed, car is now shipped. That was last Friday. The car is now on the train and it should arrive in Montreal max early next week.

So the car was bayed for a month waiting to be worked on.

Update: GM called, the car is built. No info on shipping, check back in 1 week. Dealership said delivery "any day" now...

First Post. So hello folks...nice to be here.


Put down a deposit about two weeks ago on a ZL1 1LE in Southern Ontario. As I have skimmed around the site and it would seem I'm in for a bit of a wait. I wouldn't even be surprised if this order becomes a 2019.

Would anyone here care to give me an informed opinion?

Why would they need a deposit.
Do they have an allocation for one?

You fill out the sales form and they order it.

If they don't have an allocation. That means they don't have one and won't get one.

You gave them money for air.

My last 3 vehicles have been a factory order. Never a deposit.
I ordered my Camaro no deposit. My dealer did not have an allocation for one. Did the deal which included a trade.
No money changed hands. I drove my trade for 12 weeks until the car came...gave them my keys...signed papers and drove away. Not one penny seen.

What tracks do you race on? Do you have a favourite? First Camaro?

How long does it take to ship from Michigan to Ontario... for crying out loud!
Car was built April 30, its now middle of may... It didn't take me this long to lose my virginity... argh!!!!
