Hello All,
Looking to trade my v6 for 1 ss, Most of the dealership is selling for MSRP and some discounts on gm card, student bonus ETC. I am qualified for Preferred pricing which is still not enough. heard from a friend and saw some posts earlier some people are getting like 10 to 20% on MSRP how and which dealership giving it.
Any leads will be appreciated.

I cant specifically name one...but call around and find a dealership that will give you your price.
You tell them what you want - they either say yes or no.

I was treated well at New Roads GM in Newmarket by Tony Ladas. Call him, he is a straight shooter. (Let him know sebastian gave you his name...)

The only large discounts I've seen, by GM, is mainly on trucks and SUVs, but that's because those vehicles are sooo overpriced to start with, and they can afford to discount them so high, and still make money.


I did a basic 1SS "build and price", no options just to see what discounts appear in the summary, on the chevrolet website, here's what shows up:




The method I've used for buying ALL my cars, over the past few years, is the website "unhaggle". https://www.unhaggle.com/

You build your car on the site, put in your contact info, including your postal code, and it gives you the dealership, in your area, that is signed up with the program.
The site will show you the MSRP, what the average person pays for the car, and most importantly, dealer invoice pricing. On average, you should be able to get about 3% to 7% above invoice. You can print off all the info, go to that dealership.
I guess you can go to any dealership now that you have the numbers, but not sure if you'll get the full discount.

Be prepared to take a hit on the V6, you might get a bit more than the average, since you plan on upgrading, but the sports car market for trade sucks.

I did a 1SS 1LE w/PDR on Unhaggle.
With tax. $60,500 list. Dealer cost $55,500.
Seems a little off.
