1.45 with a soft launch. My best 60ft to date is a 1.42 but I don't get on it too hard down low as I'm still on stock everything out back.

Let her eat on the way home from work tonight with the drag pack on. Used launch control and it worked pretty good. Only slight bog. Hit 60 without another shift with my raised shift points working properly now. This wasn't an exaggerated time due to spinning. Car was hooked when I hit 60...

At the track I've got to be in the very low 3 second range just going off of feel

Who's got me beat? Let's see it...
very cool, my Gtech broke (still works but I can't download via USB), I'd like to see what I can do with the new Pilots PS4, these are much sticker vs the OEM F1 and the my last set of Bridestones... yes I'm on my third set of tires in 13,000 miles... something is wrong with my car and GM should recall it, it goes trough back tires like butter on a frying pan...

Class action suit here: Camaro rear tires melting....

The 6 gen launch is phenomenal both track and street. Meanwhile the dodges, mustangs and M4 are all difficult to launch.

Was your 3.5 done with the pressing of the brake to the floor and the gas pedal so the car revs at 1800 rpm and you just lift off the brake and step into the gas.

Stock at the track my best run was with me just mashing the gas pedal. Using the launch control cost me a tenth. Not engaging launch control but foot braking and holding gas at around 1700 rpm was tenth worse than the launch control.

So, basically, my best technique so far is just mashing the gas pedal like an idiot.

My 3.4 was using "mash control."
Stock my M6 was the easy car to launch and I would assume the A8 is even better. The only easier car to me was my 440 Dart where it was not possible to bog ever. Sure a 396 Nova M22 4.88 on N50 was faster and quicker but ONLY if he could launch... My 440 was low 12s on street tires from the 70s and easy peasy lemon squeezy to launch, just slowly mash on the gas, no braking to load the converter, no burnout needed, heck I did not even need to shift it to 1st, just let the 727 do her thing.

48 degree day. On open highway bone stock PB is 4.4. Using launch control. Wife in car. 100% humidity - overcast not rainy.

I got a new personal best today on my 0-60, and gave the 1/4 mile a shot. Loving this car, can't wait to lunch it on a dragstrip. All stock for now.

Personal best on stock run flats today. I was hoping to get out a little earlier. The sun went down and temp dropped from 54 to 47 and it was game over. Confident I can go 3.7 0-60 and 11.9 1/4 with a little more practice and some TCM tweaks. Pray ported IM/TB is working for sure. Personal best bone stock was 4.1 @ 12.4 for comparison.

I was able to do a 11.9 when the stock run flats with just e75 along with a 3.9, all at about 200ft in the summer. Since then though with 30k on my run flats in about 5.2 0 to 60 and 12.5. Once in shut about 25 traction went to about zero, I even loose it in 3rd gear. I really need to get to the strip and run it, now that I have a pray ported IM and TB and rotofab.

I've noticed too that the asphalt, if it's for a fresh, sealed surface coat, is the biggest factor for traction with the worn in run flats. On fresh asphalt you can hear more noise from tire squeal which makes me think there's more sticktion from the friction ossolating from static to dynamic. I want to flatten out the camber or maybe go a little negative also to try to improve contact during launch.

Hey guys, New on here but this is my best so far on run flats.
24psi rear
34psi front

I found that if I no lift shift while launch control is engaged it hesitated.
So this was all assists off on launch just slipping the clutch. No spinning in 2ndgear at 24psi. No lift shift works amazing with all assists off. Not so much while in competitive mode.

Awesome time! Can you describe your launch technique?
