i love the ghosted ones. yes they are costly but worth it when you pull the trigger.

Yeah, no doubt they’re nice. But I’m really digging the double row LEDs in the Morimotos.

To each their own, I considered them as well, but the car has nothing in the way of lighting that'd vibe with the double row design. Our rear position lights are composed of single thick LED bars, so I feel the best sidemarkers would be something similar, neither a thin single nor thin double row of LEDs.

In the end I chose a thin single row solution that is brighter than average, which felt less of a compromise to me. 1st world problem to the nth

Morimoto doesn't list the 2020 Camaro either.

That’s odd, I don’t believe there were any changes to the sidemarker lights between 2016 and present…?

This has great reviews for the cost, I will probably go this route.

The connectors on mine sucked and it sounds like these $39 ones do too. I bet they fade/turn milky like mine did. I guess if they last 2 years, who cares. Might have to buy them.

I got those Ruxifey ones almost three years ago. All the leds still light up. Scroll down for the pics from when I first put them on.

Just an fyi, I don’t drive the car in the rain so I’m not sure how well they fair long term exposed to rain/snow.

I bought these and put them on about a month ago. The connectors are horrible. I added some beefier wire on the end of their "prongs" so it would actually push into the connectors. (I used some heatshrink wire connectors.) But once I got that done, they installed pretty easily and fit pretty well. They look great, and I like the led light look (in a line) as opposed to the stock look (one bulb).

I just installed these Morimoto markers yesterday. I almost got the DD ones, but I saw these and I liked that they were more of a grey color which I think matches the factory housings nicely. The DD ones appear to be pitch black.

One thing about these Morimotos is that they are a little brighter than I would like... oh well. First world problems

The TRS website said they only work on up to 2018 Camaros. I can confirm that they fit and work on a 2024 with no error codes yet. Will have to wait and see if I ever get the TPMS issue later on...

Looking good! I’m still digging mine as well.

I just got my Morimoto sidemarkers delivered yesterday. Hopefully will be installing this weekend. They definitely look more quality than the other cheap ones. Any tips on the installation of these things?

Yeah. The little wires have to get coiled up in the housing. But you have to twist the bulb holder in… so it helps to twist the wire the “wrong” way first before you tighten the bulb socket.

Also the rears use a small torx bit on a 1/4 ratchet. No jacking needed to get the fender liner screw out.

On the front there is a little black air duct, you can poke your finger in and release the side marker without any removal of the liner.
