You probably drove similar or the same routes when this happened (twice), are you sure you didn't kiss a tall or protruding curb during a tight right turn?

I wasn’t sure the first time, though I recall a bump while driving where I switched to the tire pressure readings. I’m positive this time though I didn’t clip anything.

Snapped on this inexpensive GM part to clean up the look of the door latches. Learned about it through a forum post from several months back. Part no. 13574802.

GM Parts Direct does not list this as fitting a Camaro.

Doesn't matter, it fits I have this as well, $10 and door jambs look just that much cleaner.

(The door striker is shared with many other GM vehicles and someone probably forgot to add the Camaro to the fitment guide.)

I put those on mine this spring too after seeing that same forum post. When I ordered them they came in a set of 4, so I have two extra. I can toss them in an envelope and send them to someone if someone wants them? PM me your address. 1st address I get I'll send them out. Update: (They are spoken for)

I got your PM, but I did get one a bit sooner, so per my post, I'll send it to the first PM I got.

This was another recent install for me! (I have been catching up with parts I ordered while the de-fresh was under way, and this one was also thanks to forum posts.) Not foolproof, but seemed worth it as $15 of insurance against casual mischief. Here is where I ordered mine from:
