To stripe or not to stripe

Hi everyone,

i just took delivery of my 2023 Camaro convertible and i am thinking about adding some rally stripes to break up all the white. Wondering what people think and if they have any suggestions on design. First few photos are of the car the other are the stripes i am considering

So if powder coating the wheels is a problem, do you have to remove the stripes at the end of the lease?

Stripe it!

I think rally stripes look great - hood and trunk lid only as a classic camaro. but a classic stripe pair that has the thin pinstripe around it.

Stripe it!

I will likely need to remove it but that should be easy enough and ships are quoting me about 500.for the stripes so not a huge investment.

Depends on what else on the car is matte or shiny. I like themes and consistency.

IMO shiny would look like the configuration picture. While the top leans more towards matte, with the top down the shiny would go with paint shine. Are you going with the black stripes?

There are lots of photos of stripes in the Official Stripes thread in the Photos subforum to give you examples of the different products and companies. DIY instructions if you want to save about $450 for stripes in the DIY subforum. I love to install stripes myself and change them up frequently.

As long as the powder coating is done right, the leasing company won't care. As for the stripes, they'd consider it an upgrade and those won't matter either. But lets be real, chances are you'll get an offer to sell that back before your lease is up and hopefully upgrade. BTW, I would just have your hood wrapped in 3M Satin Black......... Looks great on white, especially with a black vert top.
