Interceptor gauge not reading boost

So ECS installed their kit on my car yesterday, everything went really well, loving it so far even though the weather is shit right now. I know they did a 3 bar map sensor but my Interceptor gauge isn't reading boost, it's stuck at 29.xx' vacuum reading. I thought with a 3 bar MAP sensor the PCM would see boost thus gauge would read.

Am I missing something?

odd I can read boost fine with my torque pro app on my phone. The gauge toggles between vacuum and boost.

Right, that's what I thought it did.

There's nothing extra to hook up or wire in on a 3 bar MAP sensor right?

I'll email aeroforce

It legit doesn't change at all when I'm on the gas. I haVe it set on the manifold pressure display where I assume it would show vacuum then switch to boost when in boost. I'll shoot Aeroforce an email.

When I first got my setup I bought their little Boost Signal 5v device that attaches to the little Vacuum T off the intake and then had to run a signal wire to the back of the Aeroforce gauge.

Once I got the 3bar map from Ted I was able to remove that first device. I know have 2 Vacuum items on my Aeroforce. One was the original first device and now there's like a native OBD Boost/Vacuum.

Not that any of this really helps you but just wanted to point out how mine was an analog plugged in to the back of the gauge to now a native one just in case you did something similar before.

They just emailed me back, apparently I still need to run wiring, I ASSumed that it could be read through the OBD2 port since there was a 3 bar MAP sensor installed but I'm wrong.

I don't really need the boost gauge, I might buy the dual pod on the dash and just run a dedicated boost gauge, not sure yet.

I thought that the boost reading was always just a calculation.The OBD2 reads the Barometric pressure and the MAP. Then, MAP-Barometric = boost.
but hey, I could be wrong...cuz i'm only going by the what the internet told me.

Can anyone else chime in? Aeroforce is saying it's in the tune, my tuner saying it's set up...unless I'm on the wrong setting on the gauge I'm lost lol

I have it on the manifold vacuum/boost read out on the gauge. Should I be showing something else? I have it run just through the OBD2 port, no other sensors or connectors hooked up on the back.

When you ran through the setup of the Aeorforce. The actual "Setup" menu item. Its where you can put an * next to the items you want it to read. Is the boost/vacuum one enabled or do you see any that seem to regard the MAP sensor?

I do NOT have anything setup like that on mine. Mine does read boost natively through the ODB2. It didn't until my tuner sent me the 3 bar Map sensor. Once he setup my tune to read that new map sensor the vacuum/boost was avail natively.

What readout do you have your gauge set on to read boost is it the manifold pressure that switches from vacuum to boost?
