That's what I'm wondering trying so so hard not to have to go into the motor for a Fuel lobe/cam.

I'd like someone to do testing on the High flow LT4 pump and the high flow injectors by lingenfelter or FIC... I know they been tested on big builds with a different cam lobe of 32 or 38% but nothing on a stock cam lobe.

Ted, I take it the boost a pump is in place of not doing the AUX pump similar to DSX's?

Ted do you think it would be possible to go straight e85 or what ever the pump quality is with out adding 93 if one did the following mods..

LT4 High Flow pump
LT4 High Flow Injectors
Some type of Aux pump low side or Boosta bump low side..
Maybe a Lash cap of sorts..

I'd be really happy with anything over 700 at the wheels with out meth!

I know Katech came out with that new pump for the high side that's belt driven but its 5k and for some reason they say you need the highflow injectors which doesn't make sense unless your going crazy. that makes it almost another 4k.

Fuel pump voltage booster should be standard on any build as system voltage varies quite a bit and can change fuel pressure quite a bit.

See this video, https://www.facebook.com/jannettyrac...5816824954091/

The LT-4 in tank pump is part of our upgrade, I know the 1LE already has it.

We know the LT-4 fuel system is worth 100 RWHP over the LT-1 system on the stock cam so you would be stuck at about 680 RWHP on gasoline.

I did test this on the Hellion Twin turbo car, I do not believe you will get to this power level with any other forced induction on pump gas due to the octane wall and parasitic loses of a supercharger.

A cam does 3 things for you, it lowers dynamic cylinder pressure, increases air flow across the cylinder head, and increases fuel pump flow all of which are needed to reach your goal on pump gas.

See our Super Street brawler builds.

Ted.

Do you need the LT4 intermediate pipe when installing the LT4 HFP? Never read of it being mentioned. Thx

We reuse the pipes and carefully torque them to spec with no issues.

If you follow the letter of the service manual you are not suppose to reuse any pipes but seems like a political move.

Cool...one last thing, can you get enough fuel out of the stock intank by running a JMS booster? Or do you need to change out the intank to ZL1? Just curious because the OP did not mention running a BAP, So I am curious if the BAP will get me there on a stock pump? Never seen this mentioned in the past or if anybody has tried it.

Again this would be for running E60-E78 with stock pullied Whipple. Not opposed to going back to 93-94 octane if need be.

Thx!!

You will definitely need both the ZL-1 pump and JMS.

Ted: I have not seen this combo, and I am considering it:

100% stock ‘18 ZL1 6M, flex fuel sensor, complete Whipple upgrade kit. Have you done this? Can I make this work by using something like 50/50 91 octane/e85? I’m in California, so smog test “passable” a must have. Thx!

I seen that ADM was able to gain quite a bit more fuel headroom with a LPE BB High pressure pump over the LT4 on E85. 677whp with a stock 1le on 9.5psi running a LT4 supercharger.

Stands to reason.

Lingenfelter Big Bore pump flows over 30% more than the stock L86 & LT1 pump and nearly 10% more than the LT4 pump.

Curious why are more people not running the LPE big bore pump instead LT4? I mean if I can get to 670-680whp with E85 using the LPE pump and not have to get into the engine, I am onboard with that. I see more using the LT4 pump and a bigger lobe cam. 10% more flow compared to the LT4 is what another 60-70whp of fuel head room? That is not quite the gains of a cam, but not near the cost either.
