Top creak when going up

Does anyone have a top that creaks when putting it up? It sounds like creaky hinges. Is there somewhere to lube the joints?

Mines quite as can be during the opening & closing...however, while its up / closed, I do get a creaks coming from the front bow (plastic front cover on the top front), dealer worked on it for days and never could get it to stop...I just live with it. It usually gets a little bit quite after some driving.
I've looked and I can only see a couple of spots to lube, if you don't mine, when you attempt yours, please post some pics for all of to learn from!

Yes, mine creaks when going up... more so when sunny and warm. It's the plastic retractible flapper assemblies. Going to dealer this week.

My flappers are being replaced under warranty / TSB for creaking.

Picked up my car this afternoon (sales dept had keys). I didn’t see a TSB noted, but there definitely is one for creaking. Your dealer should be able to find it for you, mine is quite now that the flapper assemblies were replaced.

Had to have one of my flappers replaced because it would not retract then broke (2016). This was after I had the car for about 3-4 months. Took them a month to fix it because they could not get replacement flappers. Glad to see you guys are getting better service.

Drivers side flapper quit retracting on mine today. Any idea what it cost the dealership in labor to replace one? Looks like I better plan on doing it every 2-3 years.

My drive side flapper didnt work when I got the car. The dealer is ordering the part now.

The service advisor knew immediately what the issue was and said he has seen it quite a bit, so it isn't too uncommon.

Dose anyone have a TSB for this flapper issue? I just bought a convertible and I am having an issue with the flapper assembly on the passenger side.
