New OEMassive tail lights for 2016-2018

Hi, does anybody installed it?
Two versions are available, black:
http://oemassive.com/for-2016-2018-c...ential-signal/
And chrome:
http://oemassive.com/for-2016-2018-c...ential-signal/
Are these tail lights have the same ugly convex design as 2019 model year? May be somebody have a real photo?

Yea not a fan, If there is one thing about GM tailights on this genereation. Its that both the OEM styles look better on the rear ends they come on than any aftermarket options and I am sure will last longer too.

I like dual style, but i dislike round convex design which ruins whole car style.
Morimoto taillights is the ugliest one on the market

I have been testing these taillights for one of my sponsors, and they look a lot better in real life. Still working out some harness issues with the Morimotos, but I think they look really smokin when illuminated.

+1... Those Morimoto look like the worst of Toyota design.

im not sure about this style of lights. i'd have to see a bunch of photos once installed. i like the design of the 16-18 lights due to being simple but not overly simple like the years before it. i'm open to see them installed.

Love all the purists.. LOL they all love the 16-18 front and backends and thats it. They have chosen and christened that to be the best in their opinion, and no mods for those who think that the tail lights of the 19-20 would look amazing on the 16-18...
Same purists who hated the 6th gen when it came out... They liked the 5th gen and bad mouthed the 16 Camaro when it came out. Now its the best...LOL
Bless you all. I say if you like your car, go for it! Its your money. You like the 19 front ends? Woohoo!. You want a weird wrap on your car? Go for it! Its your money, your car.

It's not that, the real reason is that people instinctively sense the consistency of a design or the lack thereof in these 2019+ style changes. Most of us do desire updates that enhance the car's look and make us actually want to upgrade, and I think it's a tiny minority who may be trying to "justify" their 2016-2018 purchase this way.

Dual round taillights can be fine in themselves, the problem is the design does not play well with the original 6th gen lines, and GM did little to resolve that (the rear bumper changes actually made it worse IMO). Similarly, the 2019+ frontend design itself actually looks good on the Charger or the Honda Accord that it's an approximate copy of, but does not mesh with the Camaro's overall body lines. Oh well, I promised I would post no more about the design changes anymore and here I go... but I'll definitely stop now, it's irrelevant.

For example, here's an aftermarket headlight that I bet the vast majority of 2016-2018 owners like, now if only Morimoto made the light scattering/dispersion in the DRL strips a bit better...: https://www.theretrofitsource.com/Ch...LED-Headlights

I liked the original 5th gen tail lights. I especially liked the afterburner modded ones but, never saw a reasonably priced kit that could be easily executed. Is that because I'm a purist? No. It's because I don't want to waste my money on garbage to put on my car that will look stupid. Same with these lights. I've got the darkened oem on mine but, would love something to upgrade to that looks badass. These aren't it. These look like a riceburner mod. Not a fan of round tail lights at all. I will say this though, they look better than the stock tail lights that are round. If I was stuck with those, I would consider upgrading to these unless there's another option to replace the newer stock ones that completely changes the look. But, none of this is from a purist standpoint. It's from the standpoint of having good taste.

I get it. It wasnt meant as a bashing post... Just people are so quick to post things like I dont like those, or those are garbage, without offering any input on anything. And I am talking in general, nothing specific to this thread.
We all have our preferences. And sometimes they are not the popular ones.

I am testing those Facelift xb leds for RetroFitsource right now if anyone wants pictures or video. Its weird they are already selling them because there are some harness issues.
