I just found that my driver's side headlight HID bulb went out today, but just the bulb, DRL and turn signal still working fine. Already ordered a new bulb but just kind of strange to me that these bulb can go bad in 4 years, anyone else?

Are you sure it isn't the ballast and not the bulb?

Highly possible, when I turn the light on the bulb would briefly flash a couple times, this is a sign of a bad ballast right? do you know the part number of the ballast?

My 17 SS went out a few months ago. Store prices are ridiculous. Looked on Ebay and got 2 for about $40.

That’s a good price, I ordered one OEM Philips D3S C1 for $90 with tax.....
Was your bulb flashing briefly when you turned them on every time like mine did?

I paid $38 for a set of 2. No mine didnt blink. Came on solid as normal.
