New Era Performance cat delete

Has any one on here tried these?

http://www.neweraperformanceparts.co...ete-pipes.html

After having my primary cats off to weld my WB bung I saw how much restriction the factory exhaust had in the collector to cat area. I knew it was something I wanted to improve.

I'd love a set of kooks but its hard to justify the cost. I have a hard time believing the kooks will be 3x the improvement for 3x the price over these.

Well those cat delete pipes are really expensive.

I just installed the kooks headers ($1150.00) on my ride and got my custom muffler guy to install 3 inch stainless steel exhaust with a couple of bends for $100 each side. So saved a few bucks there.

I agree these are not cheap but they are the only ones that I have seen that remove both the primary cats and the secondary or resonator cats. Sadly there are no exhaust shops in a 200 mile radius of where I live.

Check out my post, where i installed these. They fit well, if i had to do it again i would of just done headers without cats. I wanted to just get rid of the cats because of the supercharger, hence the delete pipes, but ended up doing full exhaust because i didnt like the sound when i deleted the cats with stock exhaust, to each their own though. Although i am still running stock headers thru the NEP pipes and full Borla ATAK exhaust.

Just get the CA performance pipes that bolt in. The secondary cats don't restrict much...and it will sound better then deleting all 4 with the stock NPP.

Problem is, CA Performance had their phone disconnected. Seems like they are out of business.

yea I heard one of the owners passed...supposedly they are going to reboot and open up shop again. Bullet performance also makes bolt-in units as well. There are some dealers around with their products. I seen one post on FB.

I'm worried now about the sound. Seeing a lot of people doing deletes are not happy with the extra rasp that goes along with them.

Bullshit. You mean mild steel and crush bends maybe. I ran an exhaust shop for 5 years. 100 each side for stainless alone he would lose money, before even attempting a single bend.....

Awesome what ones did you go with and do you have any leak issues? I've seen a few having troubles with the drivers side leaking
