It is, he said you ported his manifold

He hasn’t posted a dyno graph of that setup yet though

What's your thoughts on this?
I am surprised it hung on as well as it did. It must be the vertical runner doing that. The TQ makes absolute sense.

The L86 intake stock is done at 5250. I'm hoping mine will pull to 55-5600 after porting and the 95mm tb.

Porting won't change where peak power happens. It may hold the power a little bit longer but runner length is pretty much the soul dictator.

Yeah I will say the l86 is a beast. It amazing how the trucks dyno at only 330whp stock yet pulls so hard. That low end torque is killer. L86 manifold might be a pretty big benefit if you have the traction to utilize it.

This is about 6k lbs with me in it and some stuff in the bed.

Yup, still manages to boogie though. If you do the math of whp/weight, they are unnaturally quick. Only explanation is torque.

It’s like 16lbs/whp for the truck
And like 8.5lbs/whp for the camaro (assuming 3500lbs and 400whp)

I'm curious about which of our current intake options offers the best nitrous distribution to each cylinder short of doing a direct port kit. Lt1, L86, MSD, or a Cut-Runner MSD. Has anyone do any testing or know of a thread that has discussed this?

Has anyone tried this yet? I’m getting a new hood put on the car soon so, perhaps I’ll have a smidge more room than before but, I’m willing to try this when I get back to the states.

I thought on the truck forums they were swapping to stock car IM's and seeing gains. You would have to fab up a plate to change the TB angle for the L86 in a car.

I’ve got a couple of places I can hit up to fab me something if need be. I like that torque. My car is short on that, for sure.
