A little about Speed Addicts…. Speed Addicts was created by Drue Macready and Ron Mowen in an effort to offer a PREMIUM racing experience put on “ BY RACERS FOR RACERS!! Our goal is to provide the absolute best experience possible. They have invested countless hours covering every detail that we can think of to ensure the best experience possible for Racers/Fans/Spectators/Families/venue residents. Please read below for a brief explanation of just a small taste of the exciting changes you will experience at Heavens Landing May 19th & 20th in Clayton GA.





• State of the art timing system incorporating Reaction time| ¼ Mile ET & MPH| ½ Mile ET &MPH

• Accelerated staging process for more action/less wait times NO shut down of runway for sponsor vehicle runs. Sponsor vehicles will be escorted down the left side of the staging road at the top of the hour for a seamless racing experience. (More on this later)

• Limited # of sponsors for less congestion

• Sponsors limited to TWO vehicles per sponsor for less congestion

• Minimum 150mph ½ mile capable vehicles required for registration to reduce congestion AND raise the level of competition and excitement

• Racer registrations STRICTLY limited to 125 for less congestion and to maximize on track racer experience.

• EXTENDED Racing until 7pm to accommodate required (by airport) one hour break at lunch

• CASH PAY OUTS for class winners!!

Starting line WILL BE PREPPED FOR MINIMUM DISTANCE OF 60ft

SPEED ADDICTS RESCHEDULED DUE TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS!!!!

Due to the incoming weather and overwhelming chance of severe showers/thunderstorms we have no choice but to reschedule our Speed Addicts 1/2 Mile Shootout. We realize this is not convenient for everyone, but it is the only logical choice to be made given the forecast.

The new dates are Saturday June 30th & Sunday July 1rst.

Our staff worked tirelessly yesterday contacting all of the outside support systems that we have incorporated into this event to ensure there were no scheduling conflicts with the new dates and that we could put on the same show we had planned for this coming weekend. I am happy to say that ALL of the great things we have announced over the past several weeks will still be in play, but just a few more weeks away thanks to mother nature.

We are back in action after a very successful weekend at the Speed Addicts ½ mile racing event at Heaven's Landing Airpark in Clayton, GA! We were able to support over 40 racers through the weekend ranging from naturally aspirated 4th gen F-Bodies all the way up to a 200+ mph Dodge Viper. Our technicians worked tirelessly to ensure that everyone’s vehicles were performing and their peak, and our tuner Mike Carnahan spent the weekend reviewing data logs and tweaking ECU calibrations for nearly every one of our clients.
