Actually the service mgr asked me for a rating of their service and I told him of the problem and he seemed to care less, let alone offer an explanation.

Is anyone worried the seating area of the gorilla are quite a bit smaller? Thats how it looks to me.

The base is slightly smaller then the factory lug. I can measure a factory lug and get some pics for you if you would like.

We have been using these lugs for year and never had an issues cause of the smaller base.

These I can get for $99.97 shipped to the lower 48 states. We dont stock them but we can get them shipped from a different warehouse.

Just a follow up to my inquiry! I matched the skinnier lugs against the seating surface of the Verde V99 rims I bought - they just about cover the surface, so there is no apparent need to go wider at the base. Nice!

I have the MRR M017 wheels. Will these lug nuts fit with these wheels? I was told to buy the spline style Because the wheels had a narrower opening but I prefer this look better. Thanks for the help.

Yes, the Gorilla lugs will fit on the M017 with out any issues. We have tested them and the fitment is perfect.
