Codes p2535 & p069e

I just bought a 2017 2SS bone stock with 16k miles and two days later I had the CEL light come on in with these two codes.. P2535- ignition switch run start circuit position high. P069e- fuel pump control module requested. I took it to the dealer and after some diagnostics he found the battery would not pass the test and also my key fob battery was dying. So battery failure in car and key fob. They work together and are important to keep a good voltage. Voltage problems can cause all sorts of weird things to happen. I replaced both batteries and all has been good now for a few days. I wanted to share in hopes this can help someone else with similar issues.

Congrats on the car. Hard to beat a ‘17 2SS, am I right?

There are so many different electronic modules in these cars, solid power is a priority. The OEM batteries don’t seem to be lasting too long unfortunately. Glad it was an easy fix though.

Thanks! Yeah it’s an awesome car. I had 2010 2SS, huge difference tech wise. Gorgeous car indeed
