ZLE in Michigan

Hello everyone,

Wife and I are finally making the move back to Michigan here shortly. Unfortunately, my ZLE is going to have to endure the joy that is Michigan roads. For those in the area (oakland /macomb county area), how does the car perform? I'm honestly worried the suspension will be destroyed driving around on these roads, but I'm hoping I'm simply over thinking it.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

Best Regards,
Eric

Just be careful and you'll be fine. It won't destroy the suspension, you'll bend a wheel before that happens. Just stay off of certain bumpy areas. Highways and newer areas are safe.

I've been all over Detroit and suburbs in my lowered 2000 Camaro SS. Complete race suspension, low profile tires, etc. Hell my exhaust is 3" from the ground at the lowest point lol. Like mentioned above you'll be fine (providing you pay attention) but obviously our roads suck

Just remember, “as soon as you relax, that’s when they try to kill you!”

I appreciate the reply guys. I've had blown struts in previous cars in Michigan, so I've been a bit worried about it.
