I have a 1SS and the stock exhaust sucks. I went with the Magnaflow Competition series axle back which I really like. The Borla S would be similar. No interference in that area.

So, yes the Borla will fit the convertible. Not only that, but they'll also fit with the GM Gen 2 GFX kit. I installed the Atak today on mine, a little more work with the GFX, but it took about an hour total, perfect fit

I have the S-type full cat back on my convertible... yes it fits, regardless of what Borla says
I agree with others, the crushed pipe makes absolutely no difference in power, so there really is no need in replacing the xpipe ... an axle back will give you the sound that the car deserves
