It does hold down on the rock chips with sticky tires on the way back to the pits...

Quit being a pu$$y

I don't ever get any rubber on my panels after a few runs at the track.

The peel off protection cover things look like they would be a great idea! Is that just static cling material? I have a roll of that stuff, I might have to try it. I used it to to put my vinyl track numbers on so I didn't have to write all over my car with shoe polish marker, as I'm pretty bad about cleaning it off.
The splash guards seem to work very well keeping the rubber off the quarter panels. I had almost none at all on there after making about 30 passes one weekend. Pic below of the rubber I pulled out of the wheel wells and splash guards after that weekend. |

That is what I have used in the past and it worked pretty good.
I sprayed the car before I hit the track then the rubber can be washed off easily.

Does anybody know if Pam or WD40 is safe for a car with clear bra? Tried painter's tape and it (1) looks like crap and (2) tends to blow off at speed.

Wash your car after the track, it comes off. The tap look is so stupid, I even see guys tap up there front bumper.

Tape is hella ghey.
When I see rubber on the quarters on a car in traffic it makes me happy. I leave it on.
