Faulty PDR GPS ?

I hope this is the best forum for this question, I figure most of us 1LE owners are the users of the PDR system.

For two track days I have had issues with the PDR System.

On my first track day I had a heck of a time marking the start/finish, the button would be greyed out and claim I was not in view of satellites. Finally got it marked ten minutes into the last session.

On my second track day the PDR did not recognize the previously marked line, so I switched to a new card and attempted to mark a new line but had the same problems from day 1...... I did finally get it marked but the system had a hard time tracking my car correctly. It only began timing and tracking my car after about 10 minutes of driving. (see attached photo).

Has anyone replaced the gps antenna under warranty or on their own? Any advice to "reboot" or clean up the system on a track day so it finds the car?

THANKS.

Were those two track days weeks/months apart or the same weekend?

In aviation we use a RAIM Forecast. It's basically a GPS outage map.

There are also some parts of the country that can't use GPS due to interference from local signals.

If your phone has no issues with GPS location while right next to your car, then I would start suspecting something is up with the vehicle.

Thanks for the reply and the link. The course is near an Air Force Base but the outings were a month apart and Racechrono Pro had no issues working from my iPhone.

I have made an appointment with the dealer, but I always like to self-fix if I can. Doesn't seem like that's a possibility here.

The last track day I did, the GPS seemed to bounce around for the majority of the time it was recording. Then near the end it found the track. The next session the gps tracking was fine. weird.

I am having these same problems with my 22ZLE. So far on 3 different tracks. While my buddy with me in a 18 ZLE on the same day isn't having any trouble.

I never had this problem with my 18ZLE or my 18CTS-V.
Has any one found a fix?

I dropped my car off to the dealership yesterday to look at this and a rear diff noise. It would be nice to show them a example where the same problem was resolved.
