2022 VIVID ORANGE (UPDATE WITH PIC OF ZL1 IN COLOR)

Was at my local dealer yesterday and they told me of a customer ordering a new 2022 ZL1 Camaro in the Vivid Orange. Apparently of the first run of the 2022 ZL1 they are only doing 6 of this color and the guy from my local dealership is slotted to get one of them. He then apparently is going straight to Hennessy for the "Exorcist" package. The color has tons of metallic in it. It is much lighter colored than the Cayenne Orange on the Blazer.

UPDATE: 9-20-21 My local Dealer just got in that ZL1 in Vivid Orange

That will be a good looking color on a ZL1 in my opinion.��

You mean 6 for that dealership....

GM does not paint only 6 cars a certain color.

I had that on order as well here in Florida. Canceled my order, but I believe the dealer is still getting it for someone else. But I had that color on order for a 22 ZL1 with the A10 and the exposed CF hood insert. Supplier pricing was $66,700.00.

My local dealer called me last week and had just received 1 Camaro allocation. They asked if I wanted it. I inquired about vivid orange and was told it is a restricted color and they could not order that color. Anybody ever heard of a new color being a restricted color?

It is very common with a new color to be constrained at the start of a new year. That constraint can change from week to week.

Indeed! Rapid Blue and Red Mist, for example, were both constrained for a while at the beginning of their Corvette production year.

Reminds me of how I always wished 4th gen f-body's Sunset Orange Metallic actually looked in person, zero no red hues.

I love orange, just on my ZL1 I didn't think I could daily drive a bright color car. But a ZLE, Crush looks right at home. Vivid looks awesome on the ZL1 and I bet equally as good on a ZLE
