Eibach Lowering Springs

Does anyone have pictures of their car with these springs? I have found some older threads but nothing that has pictures of these specific springs. If you are running them, any comments on the ride? I like the drop of the H&R springs, but the reviews say that they soften the ride.

Yes I know that changing the springs will cost time at the track, and that GM did a fantastic job with this suspension from the factory. Thanks for any help!

I went with the H&R and love them. Dropped the car a little over an inch and it runs great on track. It did soften it a touch in touring mode on the street which I like. 99% of the time I’m not on the track. I’m never going to be a professional track rat but on the rolling hills of middle Tennessee the car still feels absolutely amazing.

Thanks for the feedback! Do you have any pictures of the drop? And any rubbing when you had the car on the track?

we have done a lot of research into springs. had eibach on my last 4 lowered cars and doing it again.

not sure if you notice or not but there's 2 different eibach springs for the camaro. one drops an inch and is 18-01-22 for the ss. the one you posted lists specifically for the 1LE cars and only drops .7- model 18-03-22.
we are ordering the 18-01-22. I assume the difference has to do with the 1LE suspension being different than the ss?

anyway H&R are great springs. had a set of those once but doing eibach again for this whip and the 01 version should yield the same drop as the H&R.

Eibach Springs on my SS 1LE. They ride amazing and have absolutely zero regrets. I had H&Rs on my A90 Supra and they made all kinds of noises and rode like shit. I'll never buy H&R Springs again for as long as I live.

Eibachs are all I'll ever run, unless it's a fixed, non-magnetic damper setup, in which case I'll run KW V3 coilovers.

My understanding is that the .7” drop on the 1LE specific springs is designed to work with the MRC and FE4 suspension that comes on the 1LE. From reading old threads, I don’t think the 18-01-22 spring will drop the 1LE as much as the SS, because of the different dampers.

Thanks for the info! Do you know if you are running the 1” drop SS springs or the .7” 1LE specific springs? The stance looks great with whichever you have.

I believe you are correct. based on 2 products designed differently, my assumption is that they are not meant to be interchangeable. there has to be a reason there's 2 different designs and 2 different drops.

we are going with the 1" ss drop since we don't have a 1LE car.

Look into BMR, I've had their stuff on other cars and they have lifetime warranty on sag. My eibach experience was terrible sagging .

Damn now I want to lower my 1LE. That sits perfect.

FYI to all... if you use SS springs on a 1LE the car barely drops is any at all.
Also 1LE's come about 1/2 inch lower than regular SS... makes sense why Eibach has .7 as the drop instead of 1inch like regular SS...

Cereal question, I can barely fit a high end low-profile jack in there as it is...can you still get a jack in when you lower it?
