What took me so long?! Happy new owner of 2019 2SS vert

Just picked up a new (sold as new) 2019 2SS Convertible. Riverside Blue with Kalahari top and interior, including knee pads. A10, MagRide, NPP, premium sound, and the windscreen. 4K miles. And since it’s sold new, it has a full warranty with clock and miles starting today. I couldn’t pass that up. And technically, I’m the original owner.

Interesting back-story: car was a demo with the dealership’s owner for a year before being returned, then sat in the showroom for quite a while. Not sure why it didn’t go sooner. And judging from similar used prices with nearly finished warranties, I think I got a pretty decent deal.

But what a rush this car is - that NPP is the most fun thing about it. Just hearing those pops during paddle downshifting - love it. Already took it on its first road trip to Reno the morning after bring it home. Top down through the Sierras was a great start to the weekend.

Also, glad to be back in the GM family. First car was a Chevy Citation X11 (stop laughing) which was…interesting. First NEW car was my ‘86 Grand National. I thought 4.9 was fast 0-60 (and it was back then). But naturally aspirated V8 in 3.9 feels way more powerful.

Anyway, glad to be here. Looking forward to learning and sharing.

Congrats! I love the kalahari on the blue. I agree, the NPP exhaust is one of best options on the 6th gen camaros.

Congrats, awesome car. I miss mine. One piece of advise is look for the rear window delamination

Very nice! I got a 2018 2SS vert last year, mine wasn't new though, just a CPO car with under 7K miles when I picked it up

Gorgeous red. We were actually trying to swing it as a CPO deal since that's a longer warranty than new, but since the in-service date was coming up as "today", it didn't work.

Thanks. I ended up walking away with the CPO warranty (no deductible), extended powertrain warranty, and 3 free oil changes anytime before 11/2022 at no charge to me.

Congratulations on the Riverside Blue 2019 vert. RB is one of my favorite colors on a Camaro. Enjoy your new SS.

Congrats!

Take care, the gas pedal tends to stick to the floor fairly frequently when you first get one

Good find!

I'm shocked it didn't end up at dealer only auction.

I've seen a couple times brand new Mustang GTs end up at auction because the dealer could not sell them.

Big Ford dealer near me is still trying to unload left over 2020 Mustang GTs. Prices slashed and still sit there.

When Does that actually stop happening? Mine is always floored.

As another 2019 2ss (non vert) owner enjoy the ride!
