UNREAL PRICE

I know Camaro's are in short supply and higher demand. Went to Chevrolet web site, built the car I had on order and hit inventory search. Walker Chevrolet has a black 2SS 1LE. Sticker $51,985. Walker sale price $127,580. $1500 rebate. Out the door $126,080. I sure hope that's a misprint. Again, this from the Chevy web site, I did not check the dealers site yet.

Whoa!!! Yeah I’m grateful for my car and for my house too! Both are in short supply.

I was curious about this and took a look at Walker's site. The car you are looking at is a
2SS Yenko Edition. So that explains the markup.

That’s a very expensive 2SS 1LE! Wow! Can’t imagine what a ZL1 1LE would be priced.

SVE Inc builds them and used to be known as SLP Performance.

Does SVE have any ties to the original Yenko Chevrolet? I've wondered how they've got away with using the name. Or did GM give them the copyright/trademark permission and tell them to have at it?

I'd rather have a 1969 yenko if I was spending 6 figured. Yes the 2021 is faster but would take the legendary one. Totally stands out.

I’m pretty sure they had to get permission from Chevrolet or the Don Yenko relatives/estate to use the name because if they didn’t a lawsuit would happen.

General Marketing Capital Incorporated (GMCI) acquired the Yenko trademark from the Yenko family in a bitterly contested court battle and then contracted SVE to build the new Yenko Camaros.

There is another company building new “continuation” copies of the original Yenko Camaro too.

Dealers have started selling new cars at sticker to brokers now, and the brokers are running them through dealer auctions and making profit on them. Then those dealers are selling them as used at even higher prices. But mustangs can still be had for invoice...lol
