Just got my set... I’m beyond satisfied with the packing and components! I wasn’t even expecting new mounting bolts and clips. So glad I snagged a set and can’t wait to install them!

Got mine also... looking forward to the upgrade... hate the mushy feel of the powerstops , wondering if this plus upgraded brake fuel will ring back the OEM feel (without the brake dust of course)

I disagree.... price out a fully loaded 2SS 1LE... you are in the 50's. Add on the price of a supercharger plus install, upgraded internal engine parts in the LT4 vs LT1, upgraded fuel system, upgraded intercoolers... you are at the price of a Zl1.

I think the price is spot on

The mushy feeling with powerstop pads is 100% because of the pads and not the lines. In my search of the perfect pad I have tried nearly every pad on the market and the powerstop pads are at the top of the chart!! Problem is... it’s the top of the WORST pad chart.

By the way, those who got the lines from the first batch should all have their brake line kits delivered today

Since I am still getting messages about people wanting these kits, I just asked for 10 more kits to be made, those should be here in 2 weeks. If you want a line kit from the next batch that is coming, just PM me so that I can get your email to send you the paypal invoice / request.
Are you getting SS 1LE lines too?

good to know not to get power stop pads.

Which Pads are on the top of the best pad list that you've tried.
Pads for street use, for track use, or for combination of the two.

I know it's boring, but you can stick with the OEM for mixed street/track use.

No I agree, 100% it's the pads., as that's the only thing I changed and the braking went to shit. What I am hoping for is that I get more bite even with the power stops, with these upgraded lines. I am bot going back to OEM pads and that ridiculous brake dust

Dave, yes, will be getting the SS 1LE lines made too.

I will be sending them the necessary drawings for the SS 1LE lines over the weekend, and will be posting here in the SS 1LE section as a group buy for those.

Been a bit busy and had a few things come up, just updating everyone, the second batch of the lines have already been ordered and should arrive within the next week or two.

Still got half of them available for anyone who wants a set of these lines.

So these have been installed now with the Brembo HTC64 brake fluid and all I can say is OMG! Just as promised, the best brake pedal feel ever! With stock pads the car has amazing torque and initial bite! I had no idea how much the stock lines and Motul 660 fluid was compressing!

This is by far the best money spent for brakes, period. Crisp and Firm is the best way to describe it. The pedal requires far less travel to achieve even more braking force. Can’t wait to get on track!
