Selling a lightly modified ZL1 to vroom

Hey all. I’m looking to sell my 2018 ZL1 10 speed w/33k miles. It has an aftermarket intake, steering wheel and Forgestar F14 wheels. Would Vroom significantly lower their offer? They offered the most from the usual dealers that buy online. Thanks for any input.

My experience says no…I had aftermarket wheels, tires and suspension as well as a few other mods (the car was way better with, than without them) Anyway, my Vroom price was THE Price. It didn’t change once picked up.

You should sell the aftermarket items separately.
You will only lose Money on that stuff if you give it up for free.

I’d be interested in steering wheel.

when I sold my 1LE with webuyanycar a few days ago they were most interested in any damage, not modifications. I had an axle back on the car and the local person never gave it a glance or mentioned it all. I think one of those I tried with online valuations, I can't remember which, did ask about modifications and I think I added in something about mufflers and I didn't see that it changed any valuation on the car.

Value won't go up or down, you would be better to sell the aftermarket items separately before selling to them.

Its not worth your time or effort to return a car to stock and sell parts, IMHO.

It is if they're easy to remove. Don't be lazy. I sold all my mods off my Hellcat before trading it in, I recouped 60% of the original cost of the parts so that netted me just over $14k. Dealership wasn't going to give me a dime over black book value.

It takes what 10-15 min to change the air box,
Wheels on or off in not time if you have the oem laying around.
I could see the steering wheel could be some time but if it’s carbon fiber worth the few hundred bucks you get.
Recoup some of that money… why give it away.
It not going to change the price they give by much if any..

Sales figures say otherwise but that changes nothing about what I stated.

Id definitely take the mods off and sell them, as it would be foolish not to!

You may want to check local dealerships to sell to as well.
The last three cars I sold were to local dealerships and they gave me more than what VROOM and Caravan offered.

Try KBB buy. They gave me 6k more then Carvana offered on a GMC pickup truck and it was a piece of cake. They send it to a few dealers in the program local to me and a quick inspection. I was done in 30 minutes.
