In my opinion 43.5 OTD is a good deal. Prople probably didn't pick up on the figure including interest.

Markets are regional. Just because someone got a good deal in Florida, doesn't mean you can get the same one in California.

And even within cities different dealers have different prices they will sell for.

You have to ask yourself is it worth the amount they are asking for both the car as well as the convenience of not having to arrange a transport/drive across the country.

Heck no I would never pay that for a Camaro. They are all over priced by 8000.00 for each trim...Shop around. I seen a 1LE new for 43k close to me...still too much.

Negotiated my 2018 1SS 1LE (no other options) to $40,972 +$169 doc fees. This was before the 1LE option jumped $500 to $7000 from $6500. Hopefully the build will happen this week!

This is what I will pay the dealer to take her home. Should arrive late next week or early the following. Right now she is on a train in Battlecreek MI.

I then will pay sales tax at the DMV with license and registration, which will be around $1800.

Hardly anyone quotes the total price after interest. Just the OTD price or price before TTL.

In my case no interest. Paying cash.

So my thought was if I only ask for the out-the-door price, they will play the trick and lure me to their dealership and try to make up the profit from finance. I tried to calculate the OTD price online and I think with 3.04% APR for 60months my OTD should be around 43,500.

Makes sense, but financing depends on your creditworthiness for the most part.
