I have been shopping around for about a month now. I know there are some incentives going on right now but when I search prices nation wide I am seeing a huge spread on n the prices. My local dealers act like these cars are super hot and don't want to discount them. There are over 700 ZL1s sitting on lots across the country. Several are 17 models.

So after not getting anywhere with my local dealers I reached out to some out of state dealers(I'm in TN). No one wants to take my trade since I'm out of state. It's a 2017 SS 2ss with 4K miles. In literally new condition. Only had it 4 months.

Can you all give me some guidance on how to get a great deal on a ZL1?

Keep your trade in transaction separate from your new car price negotiation
That’s the only way to know what you are paying.
I got my 2017 from Mountainview in Chattanooga.
They are hard to pin down on the numbers.
You need #1 mSRP, not the dealer add on sticker for options they chose to add for extra profit. #2 price they are willing to sell for, #3 Chevy rebates
Cost the dealer nothing. #4 dealer fee ad on

You should have done this when you bought your current SS

When I bring up pricing I find on the web my local dealers tell me that chevy is giving them local rebates and they can't match the price. But we are talking 8-10k difference. It's not a small amount.

If you are not already eligible for supplier pricing, be sure to sign up for a Corvette Museum membership. For $50 you get supplier pricing as well as a few other perks.

Ordered so I bought local. I paid almost $2000 less than sticker, plus
Got around $2500 in rebates because it was a 2017. People who say they got $9000
Off a popular cars MSRP sticker price are mistaken. Maybe the dealership
played number games with their trade in, or they got 9 k off an add on dealer sticker.
Drive your SS for a couple years & enjoy it. At 4 months old it’s not the time
to trade it in anyway.

Couple good dealers in the Tampa area. I ordered mine in Jan, got it in April. Got 6k off sticker. For something on the lot, you might even do better.
