Do you have a 1le being its in your screen name? I noticed a big difference aside from the “ricerboy wing”. If you track your car the 1le has a lot to offer.

My boys don't think the ZLE ride is rough. They easily fall asleep in the car.

2. "DIVE planes"....canards...I'll go ahead and chock that up to autocorrect. 3. You are mistaken, there are more differences than the spoiler and canards, to include the more aggressive looking front end grill, but again, for me, its the DSSV. 4. If you own a SS, arent you in the wrong section to try talking smack?? I've had one of those too....that one only lasted 3 months in my driveway before it was entirely too boring and got traded for something with DSSV as well.

Next post after you go ZL1
- were do I get a big wing - how do I install Canards - do 1LE wheels fit ZL1 Etc Etc Whatever you decide don’t forget to order the ever classy permanent faded tow hook I know the 1LE is only a package however it’s truly amazing how everyone wants to scab the look together after the fact. Let the hating begin On a side note seriously why do you see this say up badging or faking on lower cost vehicles and not the higher end vehicles? I cannot ever remember seeing a Porsche,Ferrari, Lamborghini etc be up badged? Social experiment maybe someone here can explain? I’m not talking creativity expression it’s a phenomenon. Maybe someone can post a picture of a Porsche Boxter with a new GT3RS wing on it to prove me wrong.

Since gm does not offer this combination, one has to cobble the look together after the fact. Would I do it? Absolutely not, but I don't roast others for doing so either

I understand the why, however how do we see people doing it here and I saw it over in the Hellcat forums. I’ve never looked at Ford do we see it go on there?
I have just never seen it from say the Porsche and above group but here it’s rampant.

Not really sure why people have to jump from one extreme to another. No one buys a ZL1 asking for a Cadillac ride. That's just a really stupid statement in general. There are limits to what people find acceptable in a vehicle, if someone doesn't want a track focused ride for a car driven primarily on the street, there's no reason to assume they want a Cadillac, the standard ZL1 ride is already quite firm, and for many that's really at the limit of what they find acceptable.

It was supposed to be a sarcastic remark. I basically said the ZLE was a modified ZL1.
If you expect for it to ride like a charger your expectations will be let down. Know what this car’s purpose is when your buying. If you want a daily driver the the regular ZL1 is for you. 1LE is a track ready monster. Of course you would need to give up some comfort to achieve this. |

Another thing worth considering when going with a ZLE is the fact that the very soft tire compound and tires sticking-out kick a lot of little rocks all over the side panels.
Of course, a tire that's not as soft as the SC3Rs will help some, and yes rock guards will help a lot (I got the ZL1 add-ons ones), but I noticed recently that the lower panel between rear wheels and the doors already have a fair bit of rock chips, with less than 3200 miles on the car Unless your ZLE is meant 100% for the track and/or you don't care for rock chips at all, the ZLE will require that you cover some of those areas with PPF. I just bought 3'x3' of Ultimate Plus 10 Xpel, and will be installing it myself at home. I've never done that, so I'm a bit nervous, but the area is thankfully fairly flat (at least compared to the front which is very sculpted!). Professional installers sure make it look easy on Youtube If install results are decent, I'll consider covering more of the car by myself. Geoff |

I saw a few goonzquad videos where the boys tried and failed... as for me, small pieces of vinyl or smaller decals (such as the American flag in my rear quarter windows) is all I'm willing to do
