Crank Seal question

Hey Guys,
Just did an oil pump replacement on my 2018 ZL1. I put an ATI balancer on running a 15% overdrive crank pulley and 85mm upper. Seeing about 15lbs of boost on the gauge.
Got the tune dialed in enough to start getting on it hard and now I am 99% sure my crank seal is leaking.
I did the search and it sounds like many are using an LS3 seal.
My Questions are ....
Is that the best seal to use with the ATI balancer ???
and
Is the Elite Catch can and PCV mod the best way to vent the crank case ???

Thanks in advance guys

Did you make sure to align the timing cover? you were supposed to leave the timing cover bolts loose until the harmonic balancer is fully seated to align the cover in the correct position. after the harmonic balancer is fully seated you can then tighten the timing cover bolts. I'm not certain about the LS3 seal sorry... I believe they are the same.

Stephen,
Thanks for the response, you really had my wheels turning but I double checked and the LT4's cover is actually doweled. I was really scared because usually I wouldn't have missed that step !!!!

That's cool about the dowels I had no idea that GM updated the cover. It does take another variable out of the equation thank goodness because that was always a point of contention on a non-DI LS.

I recently installed an LT4 supercharger/balancer on my LT1 and did the switch. One could see the difference in OEM LT1 seal (likely same as LT4) compared to the LS3.

I would not think a difference between ATI/OEM for compatibility...

Nope, #4 in your diagram (12634614) is the flimsy LT1/LT4 seal.

Mighty Mouse Wild version is likely the best catch can out there for excess crankcase pressure protection.

Thanks to all of you for taking the time to respond.
Going with the LS3 seal and Mighty Mouse Wild catch can setup. As usual the guys at Janetty Racing were super helpful as well.
