SLP the best choice???

Hey guys. Just curious to know what are the opinions of the SLP kit from Jegs are. I am really thinking of pulling the trigger, but, I think I am looking for reassurance. Or even a "save up your money for....". Anyway. Any thoughts are appreciated!

Also,
It's a 2010 SS A6
CAI intake
Bo White PTB
160 tstat
Stainless Power LT's into hi flow cats
DynoSteve tune

No plans of any other mods except fuel upgrade. Cam will be another year or two since I plan on doing heads and all the other stuff at the same time.

Depends really on what your goals are down the road and keep in mind the limits of the transmission

For the current price of them, you can't go wrong IMO.

In that style of blower, I would go Heartbeat from Magnuson.

Slp is the easiest blower to install since if I remember right you don't have to disassemble the front for the intercooler, but it will also limit you if you go power crazy down the line, I was going to go with a whipple originally but ended up doing a agp tt kit and love it, if you have questions on anything I would ask there are tones of very informative people on this forum, plus if you decide on the slp blower shop around there probably is a cheaper vendor around here

My goal without cam and heads is 500-600 hp. 700 probably is the highest I would need to go for a street car.

Sorry, but what? Is that a vote for or against the SLP?

The heartbeat has lower AIT. Probably the best choice.
I bought mine for looks and went with the jack shaft maggy.
Had I known how much heavier the front ended up feeling I would have did twin turbos. Obviously I knew I was adding weight but didnt realize i would feel it like I do.

But the low end torque is amazing. Feels like a big block chevy now if traction is possible. Lol

Heartbeat is a very good positive displacement supercharger from Mangnuson. I just installed it on my 1LE 3 weeks ago and love it.

Heartbeat

The way I understand it. Two things about the heartbeat are desirable. It's very efficient and it will fit under the late model hoods. It's a substantial improvement over the original design.

What is the difference between it and say a ProCharger?
I know one is mounted on top of the motor and one in front?
Sorry. This is a BIG decision. We are talking the price of a 2nd car.......lol
