Make an emblem darker

I've been wondering if there's a way to make an emblem darker. Like adding a shade of translucent black on an emblem. I have zero experience doing any such thing and have been mostly out of ideas but was thinking of buying an empty chisel tip marker and fill it up with black paint and water. Any thoughts/ideas/alternatives would be much appreciated, thanks.
For reference, I'll be painting on this -https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B08643S928/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_P4D9Z51KE5SWZ7P7HBFK?_en coding=UTF8&psc=1

Why not try some plasti dip first and see how you like it

But won't that be opaque? I want to show the texture and color underneath, only darker. Also I believe plasti-dip will involve precise masking around the emblem? I already have it put on the car.

Thanks guys, but all these seem opaque coloring options which wouldn't have been that much a problem. But I've got a carbon fiber texture emblem that I want to keep but it's a bit too bright and shiny for my liking so I want to make it darker if that makes sense.

I bought one that said "2SS", a couple that said "6.2L", etc. You can choose your own colors and emblem type.

How about a satin clear? Though, if you don't want to go the rattle can route I would understand.

Spray would make things cumbersome as the emblem is already on the car. So I felt something that would paint more precisely like a chisel tip marker might be a good idea. Not sure if it is though. Guess I'll give it a shot..

if you use plasti-dip, you can peel off what you don't need.

Ah, didn't realize. Will definitely keep this as an option then. But my preferred finish is gloss, which I believe won't be possible with plasti-dip?

mine had a gloss. there are the new shadow colors that have a shiny to it.see the wheels in my photo for my signature? that is plasti-dip.
