Ideal SS 1LE wheel/tire setup

The correct offset for a SS 1LE front fender would be 18 x 11 ET25. I run those SQUARE with same setup up the back. You CAN NOT run a 315 30 18 on the front though because the TIRE will rub the strut body. You WILL have to grind a portion of the strut bracket back if you plan to run WITHOUT spacers and I do. I run 305 660 18 slicks all the way around with this combo. -3.6 degrees front camber and -2.2 degrees negative camber on back.

Using this setup you WILL NOT have tire poke at the top of the wheel well. Overall tire wheel diameter is 26 inches. The ZL1 fenders as you are aware provide a little more room on the FRONT fenders compared to an SS variant.

I am tracking this setup at COTA this weekend. I will provide pictures after this weekend of that set up on the track.

I'm still looking at end of July according to Cory.

Wheels are on, had to take off the plastic shield covering the A-arm, was hitting ever so slightly. Will run these this weekend and grind it down a touch, 315/30/18 and 335/30/18

Got my wheels in time for the GTA / SCCA TimeTrials event at the Ridge last weekend. This is 325/30-19 Supercar 3 on 19x12 square. The car was clean when it came off the trailer, but not so clean by the time I got these pics.

I made sure to get awesome cars in the background. I was the fastest SCCA TT car on street tires, but yeah... I was slower than the McLaren who was in my run group.

Edit: added bonus pic to show fender clearance. This is 19x12+41 from the Group Buy with a 25mm spacer in front. This fitment is NOT POSSIBLE without MCS struts, as they provide significantly more inboard clearance than stock struts.

Rotis... you just ruined my weekend with "This fitment is NOT POSSIBLE without MCS struts"

What camber are you running in the front & rear? Looking to get into the same square setup this winter.

Rotis has a ZL1 1LE which has wider front fenders than the SS 1LE. I don't know if it is possible to run a 12" wide front wheel on the SS 1LE. If possible it would poke way out and I would worry about potential rubbing and/or fender damage under heavy compression.

I had to do the strut mod to fit stock front ZLE 11" wheels on my SS 1LE and they poke out enough that I would not run them regularly on the street due to flinging pebbles onto the side of the car even with rock guards.

Here's a pic with the 11" ZLE wheel at -2.8° front camber thanks to the strut mod. I was maxed out at -2.4° before that and the angle grinding part of the strut mod to remove some metal was required to get enough inboard clearance to use the 11" front wheels at -2.4° anyways so I also did the hole elongation part to get more camber while I was at it. I probably need to do some more strut mod work to try getting -3.2° on both sides at some point but I want to see how even tire wear looks on this set of stock tires first. It would have been faster/easier to just buy camber plates and run a front spacer to avoid the angle grinding but that is not required.

The zl1 1le fitment on a SS is tough because of the offset. 18x11 +20'ish is a piece of cake with the MCS setup. Right now in front I run 18x12 +15, I think it's possible to do that and still keep it off the fenders. It'll be tight though.

I am at approximately -3.8deg front and -1.9deg rear camber.
