Are fuel starvation issues known / possible on this car?

2021 2SS 1LE A10(stock)

Im sure some of y'all have seen me frantically blow up the forums w my P0300 issue

Only happened on track, only happens on or after left turns, realized all 3x its happened at or below 1/4 tank every time as well

Am I simply not running enough fuel?

The first time it happened, prob around 1/4 tank, on a left turn (turn 10 homestead) gas pedal was a little unresponsive coming out of that corner, a few corners later (turn3, 4th consecutive left turn in a row) got the flashing CEL shaking sputtering etc

Reset the battery went back out, more like 1/8th tank now, only took 1 fast left turn for it to happen again, car almost stalled into the pits, reset the battery drove all the way home.

I remember when it happened thinking "did I just run this thing out of fuel?? but then I looked and thought no way I have almost 1/4 tank?"

A week later had an all day track day on a super hot day, pushed it all day no issues. Showed up with over 3/4 tank.

Last week, no issues 1st run, had around 3/8 tank, then 2nd run as the tank got lower and down to 1/4 or below, I came out of a long right hander into a fast left kink and boom flashing CEL again, this time code didnt stay, and the symptoms weren't nearly as bad, so im thinking this also confirms it as I was just getting down to that threshold of too low fuel?

Could I have caused damage by this or nothing to worry about and just run more fuel? I hear some people say they can run it til the gas light comes on and others say nothing below 1/2 tank to be safe.

I used to race so lots of deep threshold braking, sustained G's off the meter on the PDR, (1.5G+?) Maybe you really have to push these cars hard enough for this to happen?

Not to my knowledge but I have a track friend who had the cross transfer pump go out in his C7 Z06. Replaced under warranty (like $7k!). I'll ask him what the symptoms were when I see him at the track this Thursday.

Someone was having similar issues with their ZL1 and it turned out to be the transfer pump in tank that went bad. I can't remember the screen name though.

What is a transfer pump? Does that transfer fuel from the right side of the tank to the left where the pump is when it’s low?

ik a tiny bit of rough idle is fine but it does seem to be a bit more when the tank is close to E

And then the issues on track only with 1/4 tank in high lateral G scenarios? Transfer pump issue?

If I run 1/4 and go threw highspeed "lightbulb" @ NJMP Lightning course it cuts out.

When this happens what does the car do? Just cut out?

Or flashing CEL, followed by the typical service rear axle, service stabilitrac etc?

I've ran a full lap with the fuel low light yelling at me on 3 separate occasions 2 different tracks. No fuel starve issues here. But I also do not have the experience you do so no doubt you are seeing more G's through the corner

I haven't seen any signs of fuel starvation in either of my 2 cars even with low fuel warning and very high Gs, in fastest, long L corner at Mosport (T4), which has been known to grenade lesser motors due to oil starvation. So, I'd say zero issues even running low fuel.

No starvation issues here. I occasionally misjudge and run on track at speed until the low fuel warning light is on (E). I've even squeezed in an additional lap at speed with the warning light on (not the best idea).
