we were able to find an aluminum wing which we are recreating in carbon and we are going to convert it to swan neck and put it up and out as muh as the rules allow us to. It is a straight wing without any curve in it. I will take some pictures when it's done but it will be a complete custom one.

Car is finally finished, not optimized but at least it runs. Final weight is around 2900. The team is at the track this weekend and we think we might have a blown piston ring... damn i am fed up of this shit. After taking the tranny out twice this week, now the engine has to come out.

Mine is 3376.
A lot of dollars need to be spent for me to drop more weight.
Wish Optic Armour made drop in front and rear polycarbonate windows. A set of magnesium rims would be sweet. A set of Brembos would help too.

Did they discontinue the rear window?

rear polycarbonate is easy but front i don't recommend as it will get tarnished really quick, we opted to keep the glass in front. Easier for us to get down to that weight with the 4 cyl too.

We are also using tiny wheels and tires as the tire size is the same for eveyone in the category. AP racing brake kit is also pretty light

550 for a rear window? damn that must have cost us about 50$ to do and i doubt it was much less work that installing the one you pay 550...

As far as rear decklid and center console, that won't be this summer that is for sure, i can tell you we are done for a bit with the carbon parts building...

What we did with the decklid is that the force is actually going down on the hinges and not on the truck. Hinges are pretty strong as they have a stopper built in them. That gave us the opportunity to make the lid very light and flimsy as it only serves as a cover for the trunk
