Help me understand GMEPP warranty
Hi all,
I'm looking into extending the warranty on my 2018 ZL1 1LE. My bumper to bumper expires in Feb 2022 and the powertrain in 2024. the 2 quotes I've got so far call it the GMEPP warranty. One dealer said it is through GM, The other says it is backed by GM but claims are run through AMT Warranty. are these 2 different warranties? or are all the GMEPP warranties run through an outside company? In the case I need service I want to be able to drop it off and have it handled no different than the way the original warranty is handled. For those that have extended their warranty what have you found? TIA |

I just went through this in my 2018. Long story short, GM no longer underwrites the warranty. It's all 3rd party. Mine is underwritten by AMT, but is backed by GM, and is GMEPP
