Hey Mike, can you explain how AI mode works and how effective it is? Do you recommend this mode over just choosing one of the other options like P1-10? Which would give more driveability for the street?

Anyone still running a stock throttle body should seriously considder thier LT5 95mm modified. I've been running it for years and it's awsome!

It works similarly to the fuel trims. Initially, it will start in the middle of the spread, near "SP5" so it will feel a bit aggressive for some, and it will only respond to short term learned values (throttle rate not absolute position) as time passes it will derive a new baseline (long term) based on the time-average of the short terms. It is constantly moving.

For the street, we think SP5-SP6 are best, but this is a matter of opinion/taste. Because the controller AI mode will start internally from SP5, it makes no difference if you were to select SP5 directly.

Thank you much, Danny.

Now they are even better, and that is, more choices in prices and capability. We used to only have our version modified to 100mm with the original GM hole pattern for which you need an Adapter.

Now they all come with a dual hole pattern, for those who have a large enough manifold snout can fit them directly without an Adapter.

They also come in different amounts of modification and prices, to meet your specific air demands and budgets.

For those who need Adapters, we have them in all sizes from 87 to 103mm we can do everything in between at no extra cost to perfectly match your setup.

Old thread sorry, figured this would be the place to ask. Is the current setting stored in the wire junction box or in the head unit itself? I.e. if I want to lock the throttle and temporarily remove the head unit to reduce conspicuity, will the throttle stay locked?

Thank you
